Quick note before the holiday~
For those of you who haven't heard, i've been accepted to Madison for next semester. I'll probably be living in the dorms there, so i'll be a *real* college student at last. Though i will miss all ye spectacular EC folk, it's the price i must pay....

UWEC's Amnesty International group is having a Human Right's Week instead of a Human Right's Day next month. Yours truly has been appointed to make posters, displays, put them up, planning, and generally help out with the concert. This is going to be awesome, but i'm a little worried that i'll do a good enough job on the display, as i haven't even decided what exactly to do it on.

Donna and I have found our vice.
We are going to start a band.
You may think that starting a band is not a good, solid vice, for the robust girls that we are, but given our collective musical talent, this is the worst vice we could possibly have. Donna is very musically talented, but a band is only as strong as its weakest link, and my [in]musicality is, in fact, infamous.
We already have two songs, "Screaming Facehugger" and "We Hate Rodents (the Ferret Song)." We realize that ferrets are not rodents, but that is the point. Part of the point of this band is to really anger my sister, who will be our most loyal groupie. Our concerts, you see, never really end, they just go on and on and on to see how long the audiance will stay. I figure after the third rendition of U2's 500 miles song, most people will want to be 500 miles away from us (ooooh, they just can't see!) and will leave. Then just my sister and one or two people who have to wait for their rides anyway will be left, and then we sing the We Hate Rodents song to see how purple my sister will get. Then we eat jelly beans & German chocolate.

Milwaukee was boring and the mandatory meeting was extremely extremely boring. My mom talked for 60 of the 70 hours of that trip. Or something. Elyse got a rabbit and it peed where I wanted to sleep. Gwads, I had so much fun this weekend! It was the best weekend in many moons. The party in Wausau was fun, some of Rachel's friends talk even more than her, so i don't have any ears or thoughts of my own anymore. Just kidding, they're awesome. Sunday I went to the folk fair & was relieved to find that i didn't ruin my sister's life again as I had thought. Then I helped Glen move into his apartment, a slightly shabby affair behind ShopKo, but quite a bit better than he had described it. Barb (his stepmom) bought him cow potholders which we put on the walls, so the cow motiff is quite overwhelming.
Donna, I've been looking for vices & asking for suggestions. Tasha made me wash myself to borrow her dress, so being dirty is not a good idea for a vice anymore, plus Abbey wouldn't like that either. She suggested having smelly feet, but then realized that would also affect her, so condoned me from it.
