Yeah. Another day another bad movie, before that some driving around with RGE and Bryan. Went to Perkins, ordered the same thing i had last time: my life is nothing but routines, unsettling un-thought. i really, really, really, really, really want to do something active and purposeful, but can't think of a thing that fills those criteria. i want things to be normal, to be able to show up somewhere and not have to give a status update and have nothing to say. Is that a weird desire? Nothing ever happens, and every single day that passes like this makes me feel worse. i know i shouldn't... in a variant on this conversation, Jon pointed out that his roommate had lived at home until the age of 28. Then he made a joke about how 'it was only because of the crack,' or some such, and i played the fool, "Really? Tim's a crackhead?!" causing Jon to actually laugh out loud (something he rarely does). An interesting sound over the phone, and i suppose for that i should count it an okay day.
Actually, it was a good day, it just wound down so slowly like those Sunday afternoons in the proverbial "I know quite a few people who want to live forever who can't think of anything to do on a Sunday afternoon" sort-of-way. Or maybe that's not proverbial to not-ex-JWs, just like the Funniest Thing i Ever Said doesn't make sense to anyone other than my dad. Anyway, back at the point: i totally went to church today! And i didn't pull shy attack, at least not too hardcore; i introduced myself to someone and everything. And talked to Tony's mom, and E.Moore, among others, and it's all good times and ECUUYA (or whatever we decide our acronym shall be) will commence in short order. So yay that!
i talked to Elyse for awhile around 11, which was her lunchtime and i could hear what i suspect was a room full of Korean middle schoolers in the background. It was awesome, and hopefully i'll talk to her again soon. Donna's sick, and i'm a little worried that too much work is doing her in, so i hope she gets better soon. And Mocky's should totally be more reasonable with her schedule!
i should sleep. Sally's dreaming loudly, once again, that silly-potato-shaped dog, and it's odd. She sleeps so loudly she wakes Jessie up. Really! Time to sleep.
There were, like, other funny things said today that i can't remember at all. Sad... so... unfortunately we're going to have to go with a quote from the other crappy movie (bring it on part two) i saw part of today:
Q: What's her problem? A: Maybe she's caffeine deprived... coffee's like crack to white people!
